The Bible states in Proverbs 11:14 "Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Here at Devine Christian Church God has blessed us with wise men that God has endued with discretion. By meeting with each other, praying and planning as God directs, and moving forward in a unified manner under the Holy Spirit's guidance, we have been blessed. Pastor not only relies upon these men for input but also for their cooperation with him in order to accomplish great things for God. If it were not for Aaron & Hur holding up the arms of Moses the battle would surely have been lost against the Amalekites. Exodus 17:12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. These men make up the Shepherd Staff.
